Will the West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections be postponed.
The war involving Iran, America, and Israel has shaken India’s internal system. There is no doubt about this.
But even before that, during the SIR phase, many people in West Bengal had their names removed. Without resolving their issues, the Election Commission hastily announced the election schedule, which reflects failure.
Multiple cases have been filed in this matter. As a result, legal proceedings will continue regarding the inclusion of voters who were excluded from the SIR list in West Bengal. Due to this, the West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections may now get postponed.
The war in the Middle East and the resulting fuel crisis are about to create a significant impact on the Indian economy, which is not very favorable for Narendra Modi. It is possible that Narendra Modi may have to buy oil using funds from his long-time rival, China.
India is not directly involved in the war, but it is following an illogical dual policy, the cost of which is being borne by the citizens. Even a small country like Sri Lanka is determined to maintain its neutrality at any cost, whereas India has completely failed in this regard.
Recently, Prime Minister Modi has asked citizens to be prepared for another possible shutdown, similar to the lockdown during the COVID period. Therefore, something is happening or about to happen in India that the general public is not fully aware of.
If such a shutdown is declared, the West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections will inevitably be delayed. As well as If such a shutdown occurs, there is no doubt that Narendra Modi’s government will fall.
Another concerning issue is that in eastern India, there has been a sudden rise in movements to expel Bangladeshis, along with anti-Bengali sentiments. Because of this, the possibility of unrest in West Bengal cannot be ruled out. This too could lead to a delay in the upcoming Legislative Assembly elections.
